How much will it cost?
You get a fixed price before any work starts. It only changes if you ask for extra jobs, and we always check with you first.
Do you charge to come and look?
Not for a quote on planned work. For emergencies we explain any call-out charge on the phone before we set off.
How do I pay?
By card or bank transfer once the job is done. You get a clear, itemised bill.

Do you come out at night and at weekends?
Yes. Our emergency line is answered day and night, and an electrician is always on call.
How quickly can you get here?
For emergencies, usually within an hour. Planned jobs are often booked for the same or next day.
What should I do while I wait?
Switch off at the fuse box if it is safe to do so, unplug anything involved and keep clear of water. We will talk you through it.

Are your electricians qualified?
Yes. Everyone on the team is fully qualified, registered and insured, and we give you the certificates for notifiable work.
How often should I get my wiring checked?
Every five to ten years for most homes, and at every change of tenant for landlords.
Is it safe to use a socket with scorch marks?
No. Stop using it and ring us. It is usually a quick and cheap fix when it is caught early.

Yes. Every job comes with a 12-month guarantee on our work.
Will you tidy up after yourselves?
Always. Dust sheets go down first, and everything is cleared away and vacuumed before we leave.
Can you work around my schedule?
Of course. Tell us what suits you and we will do our best, including early and late slots.
