Booking and prices
How much is a lesson?
A one hour lesson is from £36. Buy a pack of 5, 10 or 20 and the price per hour drops. We tell you the cost up front, with no hidden extras.
Do I need a provisional licence to start?
Yes, you need one before your first lesson. If you have not applied yet, we can walk you through it. It only takes a few minutes online.
Can I change or cancel a lesson?
Of course. Just give us 48 hours notice and there is no charge. We know life gets in the way.
Learning to drive
I have never sat in a driver's seat. Is that okay?
Completely. Most of our learners start from zero. We begin in a quiet spot and go at your pace.
Do you teach automatic as well as manual?
Yes, both. Automatic is a great choice if you want to get on the road sooner.
I get nervous. Will my instructor be patient?
Always. Our instructors are chosen for being calm and kind, and the dual controls mean you are never on your own.
How many lessons will I need?
Most people need around 40 hours of lessons plus some practice with family or friends, but everyone is different. After your first lesson your instructor will give you an honest idea.
Test day
Do you book my driving test?
We guide you through picking a date when you are ready, and intensive courses include test booking. We never book it before you are prepared.
Can I use your car for the test?
Yes. Our cars are fully insured for the test, and you will already be used to how they feel.
What happens if I do not pass?
It happens to plenty of people, and it is not the end of the world. We look at the feedback together, work on the tricky bits and get you ready to try again.
